    Rooted in Herman Miller’s archives of timeless classics, the Collection takes its cues from none other than George Nelson, who, in our 1952 catalogueue, wrote of the importance of continuing the creation of a permanent collection “designed to meet fully the requirements for modern living.”

    Sustainably harvested Santos Palisander veneer is hand-oiled to resemble the plywood shells of the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman as they were originally designed.

    Soft to the touch, and featuring a natural grain that will wear in beautifully, MCL Leather is sourced from European cows that live in Alpine forests.

    Cut to order and given an eggshell-like honed finish, our four options of stone tops hail from North American quarries.

  • Outdoor Weave

    Designed by materials consultant Susan Lyons, Outdoor Weave combines a sturdy monofilament polypropylene for strength and elasticity, with four multifilament polypropylene yarns to give it a great look and feel.
